Houston Spartans Scholarship Winner Announced

Congratulations to Kim Groneck, winner of this year's Houston Spartans Scholarship.

Kim moved with her family to Houston from Brighton, Michigan three years ago. She attended St. Agnes Academy (SAA) and recently graduated in May.  Kim was on the SAA tennis team sophomore through senior year and on the Campus Ministry Team junior and senior year, a team that plans all school masses and organizes and runs all sophomore, junior, and senior retreats.

Kim decided to attend MSU after growing up near the campus, and has always thought that MSU was the right school for her. When she moved to Texas, Kim researched local universities, but found that Michigan State was ultimately the best fit. The campus drewher in and though she was only there for a tour, Kim knew it would be the perfect college experience. In the fall Kim will begin the Pre-Nursing program and is excited that Michigan State has one of the best nursing schools in the country.

Congratulations again to Kim. We wish you all the best and look forward to hearing more about your experience at MSU.
