Spartan Tailgate & Astros Baseball Game

The crowd turn out, the weather, and of course the Astros made for a great     evening last night at the Spartan Tailgate and Astros Game event. 

Spartans from all over the Houston area, as well as some from Austin gathered in the Champions Pavillion at Minute Maid park to hear speeches from Executive Director of the MSU Alumni Association, Scott Westerman, MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon, Athletics Director, Mark Hollis, and our very own Houston Spartans President Jeff Hawkins, as they outlined goals for the future of the alumni association. 

Spartans can look forward to a 'Customer Service' focus and personalized support from the association. Alumni representatives will become more accessible and all communication lines kept open to ensure every Spartan receives the resources and support he or she needs.
